Project Engineer

The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting and overseeing projects from planning through completion, ensuring all technical, scheduling, budgetary, and safety requirements are met. This role works closely with Project Managers, field teams, and stakeholders to coordinate project execution and maintain alignment with company standards and project goals.

The Project Engineer assists in project planning, scheduling, and documentation, while also providing technical support, monitoring progress, and helping resolve field or design-related issues. This position plays a key role in maintaining quality control, compliance, and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of projects from start to finish

  • Support development and tracking of project schedules, budgets, and scopes

  • Coordinate with project managers, field crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders

  • Review technical requirements, plans, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility

  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and compliance

  • Assist with troubleshooting technical or operational issues as they arise

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records

  • Prepare progress updates, reports, and presentations as required

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in project engineering, construction management, forestry, vegetation management, or related field

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

  • Working knowledge of safety standards and quality control practices

  • Proficiency with project documentation and reporting tools

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both office and field teams

  • $25 - $35
